POY Allie Thornton, Jr., Kennedale: The MVP of the UIL 4A State Tournament, Thornton was also the MVP of District 8-4A, leading the state champion Wildcats with 38 goals and 22 assists.

 

GK Taylor Sisson, Sr., Fort Worth Paschal: A four-year starter and two-time Super Team selection, Sisson posted a 0.55 goals-against average in backstopping the Panthers three-rounds deep in the playoffs. Posted shutouts in 14 appearances.

 

UTIL Emily Keoughan, Soph., Fort Worth Nolan Catholic: A left back who also pressed into the offense when called upon, finished the season with 17 goals and 13 assists for the Vikings.

 

D Sydney Smith, Sr., Grapevine: Defensive MVP of District 6-5A, helped the Mustangs limit opponents to just seven goals during the regular season. Added three goals and an assist on the offensive end.

 

D Romie Reyna, Jr., Fort Worth Arlington Heights: Defensive MVP of District 7-5A. An athletic, multi-sport athlete, Reyna held Texas all-time career goal-scoring leader Esmeralda Gonzales scoreless in two meetings this year.

 

D Cassie Marciante, Sr., Keller: A two-time Super Team selection, Marciante anchored a Keller defense that allowed only 8 goals during District 5-6A play this season. Was named co-MVP of the district.

 

D Katina Tsapos, Jr., Trophy Club Byron Nelson: An accurate passer who also defends well and can start the Bobcats’ offense out of the back, Tsapos was co-MVP of District 5-6A. Added three goals and five assists this season.

 

M Dani Murguia, Fr., Cleburne: As a central midfielder was the facilitator of the Yellow Jackets. Finished with nine goals and six assists this season, and was named Midfield MVP of District 8-5A as a freshman.

 

M Allisyn Gardner, So., Southlake Carroll: The Utility MVP of District 7-6A, Gardner played the role of scorer and provider. In 25 matches she found the net 14 times while assisting on 15 goals.

 

F Grace Cory, Jr., Southlake Carroll: A two-time Super Team selection, Cory led the Dragons in goals and assists, with 19 and 18, respectively.

 

F Sophia Smith, Fr., Grapevine: Was MVP of District 6-5A as a freshman. Scored 16 goals and added 14 assists on the season, helping the Mustangs advance to the state tournament.

 

F Esmeralda Gonzales, Jr., Fort Worth South Hills: Became the state’s all-time career goal-scoring leader this season, adding 75 (with 18 assists) for a total of 207, and she’s got a year to go. A three-time Super Team selection and unanimous MVP of District 7-5A.
